FUNCTION:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Define and develop documentation
for all compounding, cleaning and sanitization activities within the
process department.
2. Define manufacturing process based upon
customer specifications.
3. Identify opportunities for
improvement in manufacturing processes, i.e. cycle time reductions,
more robust processes and implementation of new technology.
4.
Notify process manager of all deviations found in the manufacturing
process and of any defective equipment found.
5. Competently
initiate and write process investigations as directed by the process
manager.
6. Supervision of contractors when working on jobs
within the process department, as required.
7. Prompt and
effective response to emergency problems in the process
department.
8. Assist in ensuring department is prepared for all
audits and tours.
9. Maintain accurate and complete documentation
in fulfillment of all duties for self and shift.
10. Understand
and comply with current SOP and GMP requirements relevant to the
position for self and shift.
11. Maintain professional,
courteous, and effective communication with all co-workers,
customers, and contractors in the execution of all job functions for
self and shift.
12. Assist process manager in all other duties as
assigned.
13. Proper use of personal protective equipment at all
times required for self and shift.

BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates degree required. Four
year degree preferred in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or
Biology.
Experience: Must be able to work with a minimum of
supervision. Good math, writing, and verbal communication skills are
required. Must be computer literate.
