| Description: |
FUNCTION: Assign and directly supervisor
daily batching assignments and all ancillary activities to process
personnel.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Scheduling and direct
supervision of all compounding, cleaning, sanitization, and
validation tasks and activities within the process department. 2.
Direct supervision of process compounders, linepersons, and porters,
and all related functions. 3. Notify process manager of all
deviations found in the manufacturing process and of any defective
equipment found. 4. Competently initiate and write process
investigations as directed by the process manager. 5. Administer
and document training of process personnel. 6. Supervision of
contractors when working on jobs within the process department, as
required. 7. Track and accurately report all labor hours incurred
on the shift, inclusive of straight, overtime, and experimental
order hours both on a daily and weekly basis. 8. Specification
and sourcing of equipment, supplies and spare parts for the process
department. 9. Review and evaluate process employees annually,
with periodic follow-ups throughout the year. 10. Prompt and
effective response to emergency problems in the process
department. 11. Assist in ensuring department is prepared for all
audits and tours. 12. Maintain accurate and complete
documentation in fulfillment of all duties for self and
shift. 13. Understand and comply with current SOP and GMP
requirements relevant to the position for self and shift. 14.
Maintain professional, courteous, and effective communication with
all co-workers, customers, and contractors in the execution of all
job functions for self and shift. 15. Assist process manager in
all other duties as assigned. 16. Proper use of personal
protective equipment at all times required for self and
shift. 17. Supervise and ensure that shift s execution of job
responsibilities is executed in a safe and efficient manner, while
maintaining a clean work environment.

BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associates degree required. Four
year degree preferred.
Experience: Must be able to work with
a minimum of supervision. Good math, writing, basic computer and
communication skills are required. Previous supervisory experience
in a pharmaceutical or FDA environment is required.
